My experience with CX departing MAA (Chennai, India) to SYD via HKG.

The CX staff at MAA airport didn't recognize that I was a QF Gold. I was standing in the PB lane for OW Sapphire & Emeralds. The guy walks over to me and asks if I was travelling J or Y. I said Y and he asked me to move to a different queue. I showed my OW-S/QF-G card and he didn't realize/understand what I was showing.

I politely walked over to the other line for NPB :)

Best was, my hand-baggage was tagged "Business" :)
