How many SCs did P-ers and P1-ers get?

Lowly bronze this year and got 40 SCs which is still nice but won't help me quite get over the next tier. Less travel this year.

Note that:

150 and 300 respectively.

The one year I don’t need them (and I’m only 1 mth in). Also about to take points for GT, first time I’ve done that. Probably will op for Double Points (not DSCs)!

Edit: the bonus PC points and 2x QF Hotels points will come in handy for retaining PC again. There’s also 2x bonus points for QBR members (and of course, we can xfr 20k towards PC each year.

Actually, all “active”* QF members - including PC/PC+ will get some SCs even if they have zero, but are earning points.

*some activity in the last 18mths

Only PC/PC+ are getting the bonus points however.

They are going to Bronze members, yes.

But the Points Club gift is different to this.

Ie, this isn't the thread to discuss SCs.

I think for PC+ the extra points somewhat offsets the increase in points cost for CR redemptions for my next booking. Better than nothing

The 5K points should arrive by 8th Sept.

30 Sep was for Bronze FF.

According to the Qantas FAQ in the Qantas Points bonus gift section for PC and PC+ members:

When will I receive the Qantas Points gift?
If eligible, the Qantas Points gift will be credited to your account by 30 September 2025.

and

Where will I be able to see the Qantas Points gift?
You will be able to view the Qantas Points gift on your activity statement in My Account on qantas.com or in the Qantas App by 30 September. The transaction line item will appear as ‘Thank you for your loyalty’.

So I have no expectation that I will see it in my account until 30th September, No mention of 8th September for the Qantas Points Bonus Gift. The 8th September is only mentioned under the section for Status Credits bonus gift.

We'll see. I think the page has been poorly written, as there is no separate status gift to points club members - only to FF members (which of course includes PC members).

It seems odd they would award the same amount to Bronze PC members as regular Bronze members, but credit it earlier just because you happen to be a PC member. I guess it's possible, but that would be very odd. And the idea of the loyalty gift is pretty odd to begin with.

Perhaps they are prioritising bronze SC gifts in order of PC membership. But then they could just as easily prioritising the PC gift in order of status.

As WP/PC, I'm expecting both by 8th September, We'll see.

As with others with an end September qualification year, it is a bother that the gifts won't count to next year. We also got the shorter straw with one of the COVID extensions. Ah well, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, I guess.

Its pretty clear and straight forward to me. There are two offers. One is Status Credits gift to QFF members based on their current status level. This Status gift is unrelated to PC or PC+ membership.

The second is Points gift which is offered to PC and PC+ members. The two gift offers are separate and members may qualify for both. I was specifically discussing the 5K points that is offered to PC+ members, and for that offer, the only date mentioned is for points arriving on 30th September.

But the SC offer also has a blanket “they’ll be credited by 30 Sep” for all but then breaks down the order of processing.

Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if the the points and SCs arrive around the same time.

Worse case, the “Activity” date ought to be no later than 30 Sep and count toward your current PC/PC+ year.

As discussed a while ago, there’s about a 2 wk processing window after the end of your year to catch late comers to your PC tally.

I agree about them being separate gifts, that reinforces my point that the line in the table for status referring to PC is actually for the points gift.

I still don't understand where there is confusion. I assume you are referring to this reference to a table:

The table below outlines the expected dates the gift is to be credited to eligible members' Qantas Frequent Flyer accounts.

Members are asked to check their accounts after these dates:

Based on that information, I cannot see any way to hold an expectation that the Points Gift for PC+ members will be received by any time other than "by 30 September".

Yes, the information certainly says "by 30 September". It does not say "on 30 September". So it is certainly possible that it will arrive before 30 September. In my case, my end of membership year is 30 September, so I would dearly like to see it arrive at least a few days before that to know that the offer commitment has been delivered. And if it does happen to arrive on or around 8 September, then that would be a good thing, but I am not going to be chasing QFF if it has not arrived by 9 September,

The sticking point is why they would process Bronze PC status credits earlier than other Bronze members just because they have PC membership. PC is completely irrelevant to your FF tier.

I guess I’m used to working out what I think QF is trying to say, as I know they aren’t good with words!
