Qantas Points Club Discussion

Just received 2000 bonus miles from a PC/PC+ promo for international flights. Anyone recall what that was? I can’t find an email but it could be upthread!

Pleasant surprise getting some bonus points along with my DSCs a couple of days after flying SYD-HNL.
Probably from the email titled 'The International Red Tail Sale is now on' dated 4 February 2025:

I was hoping I would get 4000 points for my return ticket but the T&Cs suggests that it's 2000 points per booking.

That would be it. Booked this trip during that sale but must have deleted the email.

My vouchers did appear in my account today too, finally.
Just remembered to check my account (31Jul rollover). 2x new QP invites already there but no vouchers yet. Wait and see how long they take.

Landed home last night with two emails from QF recognising retention of PC (and seperate WP).

PC Vouchers are showing in my dashboard this morning. Which has been pretty normal timing for me.

Just got the second email this morning with the wine and hotel vouchers, after yesterday's email for retaining PC+
Looks to be a better timing than July's experience for others

Yep, email also arrived sometime after posting my earlier comment.

Thanks for the recent advice all, looks like I'm on track for PC retain. Found a fair few red planet surveys due, and the points from my hotel stay landed, so it's looking like I'll close the gap .

If work travel trends continue I may drop from SG to PS after next membership year, so will probably hold off on cashing in those WWR points if I can and make a dash for PC+ the year after to restore lounge access.

So many Billions of points out there with so few J reward seats, this does nothing to resolve it, just make matters worse, handing out so many more million points for absolutely no reason.

QF aiding status holders attain status, while VA on other hand making it harder, hmmm

Points Club Plus members will receive 5,000 Qantas Points and Points Club members will receive 2,500 Qantas Points.
Hardly earth shattering, but nice to see it counts towards PC qualification, that's something.

Well, for me the SC gift is absolutely useless. My membership year ends 30th Sept so they are only valid for a few weeks. I hold Lifetime Gold status and will not be reaching Platinum. So the SCs come in , sit in my account for 3 weeks, then disappear. Useless.

But the 5000 points ofr PC Plus membership might be useful. I am currently 12K points short of re-qualifying PC+ and at normal earning rates from credit card and shopping I expect to be within 5000 points of the required 350K, I was going to transfer the require top-up from Qantas Business Rewards to top out the 350K on the last day of September.

Now, can I actually believe this 5K points will actually arrive on 30th September - my last day of membership year? Hoping so and will be keeping a record of this announcement to ensure it is honoured if not processed in the defined timeframe.
