Qantas Platinum One experiences?

I had a second label created today by Qantas Wine. Definitely didn't make any recent purchases.
I entered the PJ comp, but I doubt it would be about that!

Collected my delivery from the local AusPost shop today. Nice!

Got home and received a message on my phone confirming my parcel had been collected. 30 seconds later and another message arrives telling me I have another parcel to collect from the same PO

Scored my first P1 invite today - Day 1 of the Ashes Pink Test at the SCG. Gladly accepted and thrilled at the timing as it was only yesterday that I discovered - and remedied - the fact that my QF profile was set to not send me invites to P1 events. Very fortuitous timing!

In the Qantas App, go to the My QFF tab, then My Platinum One Benefits > Food Wine and Events > Update Your Profile > VIP Preferences. You'll find the settings in there.

Yeah I could have sworn I'd previously indicated I was interested to receive invites so was quite surprised to find the setting switched to "No".

Same… pretty annoying as I definitely recall a conversation with them a couple of years back where we made sure this was turned on. Not to mention i was invited to a wine/dinner event a little while ago so must be a reasonably recent change.

Discussion in other channels that this is part of an improved system for allocating invites that QF have been working on and that associated comms are coming out within the next month. There is some suggestion that everyone is/was set to "no". Might be worth other P1s checking their respective settings.
