Seems bang on for a bottle of champagne, both height and weight. Bottle of champas in front of me is 32 high and weighs about 1.7kg full.

If it’s gin, at 2kg, would have to be 1L at least. (700ml is closer to 1.1Kg). Champagne bottles are heavier.

I don’t think the Aus Post dimensions are 100% accurate anyway.

Yeh that’s a hard pass from me.
I suspect/ hope it will be a nice bottle of vintage Champagne.
A welcome return to that last year after the bottles of gin.

indeed - my visual, from the couch, of a boxed Dom P on a shelf nearby was that it was bigger than that, but turned out to be very close to those dimensions

After barely scraping my way into WP last year I set out to earn the more manageable 1,200 SC to maintain it and I think it’s fair to say I overshot it slightly.

I have absolutely no chance of retaining it next year but until then I look forward to the ego boost.
