Qantas PER-SIN schedule change 26 Oct

Can confirm lounge opens early. Unsure what time exactly but I arrived around 8 and it was already open for the 10.30 departure. (9.45am boarding)
Thanks, good to hear Qantas has accommodated the schedule change. Enjoy the flight 👍

Can I ask a question in the opposite direction?

QF72 arrives Perth at 0040am - what are the best options to get from the airport to somewhere (does not have to be Perth) at that time of the night. I saw on booking platforms that quite a few hotels stop check-ins after 10pm

There are a few Airbnb’s and the like between the airport and city that have self check-in

I've never had a problem emailing a hotel, telling them that I'm arriving late. They normally keep a staff member back, or have a key box arrangement.

Regarding transport following QF72 - we didn't have a problem catching an Uber the other evening. Plenty of Taxi's were still at the rank, too.

Taxi or Uber. I've done it a bunch of times. I tend to land up in a taxi as I'm usually HLO and APEC card so one of the first out of the airport. The taxi line is right there with cars waiting. I do try call an Uber but 9 times out of 10 they haven't picked up or 5 minutes away. I just want to get home to bed.

There is zero traffic. Trip to the CBD would be 15 minutes at most.

Can always pre book Uber for easy pick up on arrival. It's not that much more to pre book.

How does pre-booking an arrivals Uber work for airport pick-up?
I use the Uber app and book it in advance. You are also given a price and then your driver meets you in arrival. They ask for your flight number and arrival time initially. Even if late they monitor. On arrival they message you and usual pick up location is the share ride area to the left of the international arrivals at T1. It's pretty easy. As normal, car reg number and.driver detail all provided. You can also instant message the driver if held up in immigration etc.

Can you set how long after landing time the driver should meet you at the Uber pick-up point?
