QANTAS passengers have been dealt another blow with the airline announcing it will increase its fuel surcharges yet again due to rising fuel prices. The airline said that fuel surcharges included with fares on frequent flyer redemption seats would rise on April 28 to as much as $290 one way, for flights to the UK and Europe, from the previous $190.
Domestic, regional and Tasman fares would increase by five per cent and a fuel surcharge would be added to domestic and Tasman frequent flyer redemption seats: $10 for Domestic and $20 for Tasman Classic Award redemptions.
