Hi all,
I've attempted multiple searches on the subjects I'm about to bother all gentle readers with, however my ability to read is either failing me this evening or the answers aren't presenting themselves in response to my selection of search terms.
Given the good people at David Jones and Qantas have decided to throw points in my general direction should I purchase the former's wares, I've decided to take the bait and demand that they take my money. That said, some items that I want are available online whilst others are only available in store. With that in mind, I have the following incoherent list of questions in the hope that other AFF members may have gone down this rabbit hole prior and decided that the blue pill is now the better option.

- Does purchasing David Jones gift cards via giftcards.qantaspoints.com see the transaction involved classed as spend with Qantas? Specifically, I'm asking about the bonus 1 point / dollar attached to some cards for spend with Qantas.
- Does purchase of David Jones gift cards at shop.davidjones.com.au attract the normal Qantas Online Mall points earn? I would think this not to be the case, however the general terms and conditions for the Qantas Online Mall and the specific terms for David Jones contained on the Qantas Online mall page do not reference gift cards in any way, shape or form. The FAQ section is also bereft of any information on this topic.
- Does earn of points via the Qantas Online Mall have any correlation with payment method?
