I just did a ‘australia to europe’ for feb next year… 14 pages of results!! All classes wide open!

but all on emirates 🤣🤣
The only way could get it to show QF1 is by selecting direct SYD-LHR, same would work with the PER flights as well. Nothing in any class other than economy however BA does show up and a few PE seats early next year.

Wondering if Qantas will do a reward seat release when they officially announce the search engine.

I didn’t save up a big pile of points to fly Emirates. All I want is J/F return reward seats on QF to LHR. Is that too much to ask?

I’ve saved my points and I’m willing to spend them on what I saved them for.

If they were being truthful, Qantas' answer would something along the lines of "We're able to fill these seats with people paying $10-20K return. Why would we give them to you at Classic award levels? We're not even willing to give these seats to Platinum One members 98% of the time."

I saw a BA flight with PE, but didn’t want the facts to get in the way of a good story! 😆

Nice. A clean looking search tool and seems to be fast too. A good enhancement but there is room for improvement such as ability to filter on operating carrier (i.e. filter out Emirates flights) and/or a filter on the co-payment/surcharge amount (not sure if I have that terminology correct).

Am I being precious, but would like to see P1/WP getting better access before the credit card churning points whales who hardly fly 😉

They do get better access. They get better access before anyone else to QF seats (to the extent they’re actually available) and are also able to request award seats. Not too sure what else you’d want them to do.
