I'm visiting my 82-year-old mother and she pulled out this small Qantas suitcase which looks like it's from the 70s or maybe the late 60s. It lies flat but when you open it up it becomes a small, carry-on size, suitcase. My mother solemnly told me that I should sell it because I could get a lot of money for it...

Is she right? If so, is there some aviation memorabilia or Qantas memorabilia website I could go to or is eBay the best option?

(I think I read somewhere that's a violation of AFF rules to offer anything for sale in this forum).

Qantas Founders Museum I don’t think you would get a lot of money for this but I’m sure QF museum would give it a good home.

There must have been a special occasion do the Tartan look?

They’re usually red / maroon or blue plastic?

Winged Roo was from 1968 to 1984

Not worth a lot. Ebay has Qantas memorabilia

It's missed being a show "case" on the 100th anniversary safety video
