Hi all, I just got an email from Qantas saying "you're invited to join out Member Insights Crew". Is this a genuine initiative or just a marketing tool? They say the'll send 4 surveys a month. Sending surveys makes it sound more marketing than "help us to shape Qantas Frequent Flyer". What do you think - give it a miss or register?

I'd suggest go with it and see how you go ... if you think it's too many surveys to do or too mundane/boring/not so relevant questions, you may choose to opt out (assuming there is a way to opt out once you've signed up)

Also, who knows, this might open up some better experiences with QF, that those who didn't get the invite might not have :)

Agree with Ade, try it and see. I was invited to a similar Jetstar panel but gave up after a few surveys as, unlike Red Planet, there was no renumeration for my time, just their thanks.

Could be an interesting way to get insight into some of the changes that QF are thinking of making, I would sign up if it were me. You don't have to do all the surveys, just do them as/when time permits.

I would give it a go but I quite enjoy doing surveys. You can always stop if it's not working out for you.

Just a quick update on the Qantas Crew email I received last month. I received my 1st survey last week & then two this week. While we are requested not to discuss the actual content, the 1st was pretty standard, but last one was about the Coronavirus & travel and was quite interesting. Worth remaining in at this stage.
