It is possible that this statement is true. I know QF have had some issues recently but most of them have been identified as potential issues in the manufacturing of the aircraft and could happen to any airline. As far as I am concerned it is still one of the safest airlines....

I think the number of incidents are around the same, just the media is hyping it all up..

Personally I'll stick to flying QF.
