Qantas launches first class Mercedes-Maybach chauffeur service

During the three-month trial running from September to November, a Qantas host will meet “eligible passengers” on arrival, escorting them through the airport and onto a waiting Mercedes-Maybach for a scenic airside ride from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3.

T1 > T3 seems a bit strange... why not reverse as well - also how do they find the Pax after customs, from the QF Bag drop?

From T3 > T1 would be meet at airbridge and escort - would've thought this would be much easier.

Whilst they're at it... maybe separate entrance at SYD for F pax? If you're going to be the SYD airline, might as well make your SYD experience and actual F experience.

I’ve got an F flight transiting SYD to MEL (from DFW) in early Nov, wonder if I’ll qualify? (CR seat so I presume I won’t..)
