I have a QF issued award ticket on El Al. I have a 6 digit reference number as well as the actual e-Ticket number. When I use either or, El Al does not let me load my itinerary.

Calling Qantas, they say that the ticket is issued but they can’t access the itinerary either, can’t make changes, and surely can’t add additional luggage (what I want to do). I got this answer from 3 agents (all non-Hobart).

Calling El Al, I am being told that they can’t do anything either as Qantas is my travel agent who should request/add additional luggage.

So now what? Any bright ideas other than rocking up at the airport and pay the probably expense check-in over limit fee?

Do you need an El Al record locator/booking reference? Perhaps call QF and ask if there is a different reference for the El Al flight. Given this is not a code-share you are actually an EL AL passenger, so you should be able to retrieve your booking, as well as full access to other services such as extra luggage.
