Does anyone have an update on when the HND and NRT changes will start to filter through on existing bookings? I have NRT-BNE booked for next year and the significant time change will affect a connection so will need to sort that once the airport and time change comes through.

All we know at this stage is that the 3rd slot at HND becomes available to QF from Feb 25, needs to be in use by Apr 30 and that QF has told IASC that they intend to be using it from Mar 30.

We know the flight times that QF would like (from their IASC submission), but we don't have confirmation on those times.

OK, so it's subject to confirmation then. Might be something we can expect to hear more from early in the new year perhaps.

Thank you, I'm just wondering if the Australia to NRT daytime flights will continue as well as those to HND.

Qantas has only mentioned the 3 daily flights to HND. There is speculation from some 3rd parties that one of the current SYD-HND flights will move to NRT.

Australia and Japan have open skies. Unlimited flights between Australia and Japan are allowed, subject to airport availability, except to HND.
It is not yet known if QF will drop AU-TYO to 3 daily flights, retain a 4th to NRT or resume service to another Japanese port.

Has anyone booked on QF88 ICN - SYD prior to 14 June 2025 (which was the published end date) been notified about a cancellation? I have been scoping out reward flights during May but it looks like the flight has been pulled from both cash fares and redemptions from 6 May 2025 which is before the announced end date...

Yes I got an email a few days ago saying that the end date for the Seoul route is now 6 May and my mid-May flight has been changed from Qantas to Jetstar. Definitely not happy about that. Qantas can't just pretend that Qantas is equivalent to Jetstar. I asked for a refund and now have rebooked with SQ Business using Velocity points.

I was affected by this change and was initially offered the JQ flight. After doing some digging, I found this thread and someone a few pages back said to ask for a reroute via HKG or HND. The first two times I called, they said no as there were no classic rewards availability on those routes in business class. I even asked if they could release CR seats as it was an involuntary change.

I called for a third time and the operator let me route SYD to HKG on QF followed by HKG to ICN on OZ.

Looks like there's more schedule changes due to air traffic disruption in Western Part of Asia:

Qantas is making some temporary changes to its international schedule to offer more flights between Australia and Europe. These updated services will be introduced progressively between 20 April and 26 July 2026, subject to government and regulatory approval:
Flights between Perth and Rome will increase from up to four return services per week to up to daily flights during June and July.
Flights to Paris will increase from three return services per week to up to five, departing from Sydney and operating via Singapore.
From 21 May to 26 July, flights between Perth and Singapore will increase from daily to 10 flights per week, helping customers connect more easily with Qantas’ Singapore–Paris services.
Qantas will also continue to operate its daily Perth–London service via Singapore, while the London–Perth flight will continue to operate nonstop.

I am searching for flights from BNE-LAX return in July 2026 and there are no direct flights offered in business or economy at all for dates around July 13 - 18.
Is this just a website glitch or have they removed the direct BNE-LAX flights for some reason ?
I'm hoping this is a glitch and not a cancellation due to fuel issues ?
