Update to this.I have been checking the departures/arrivals webpage for MAA. It doesn’t look like any of SIN-MAA-SIN 6E was affected (there seem to be some delays though) in the past week. But as they say past performance is not an indicator of future performance…
Bit the bullet and booked QF-6E last minute. Flew CBR-SYD-SIN-MAA. SIN-MAA on 6E. No issues with flights, except that the 32X’s that 6E use on this route, IMHO, is not suitable for 4 hours of flying. I was uncomfortable with the seats mainly. True LCC vibes. Would take the overnight in CMB on UL then to MAA over 6E to MAA ex-SIN.
I have also made a post about lounge access when transiting SIN as QF status pax. Please see below link for more info.

Update 2: during check in at CBR, the agent said I’d need to pay for excess baggage. QF WP here with 50kg allowance, checked in approx 37kg. Agent acknowledged that I’m WP “I can see that you are a Platinum frequent flyer, but because this is a codeshare with indigo and indigo has only 30kg as the check in bag allowance, the system is asking you’d need to pay for the additional allowance”. I explained that ex-AU shouldn’t be an issue. However, I ack that ex IND it would be an issue given the first carrier (significant carrier is 6E/similar). She then said that makes sense. Made a call to her supervisor, who advised to waive the excess baggage fee.
From previous experiences flying 6E, 6E doesn’t recognise QFF allowances when the first flight on the booking is operated by 6E. Had an issue last time I flew out of MAA. So learnt it that way.
