I visited the Qantas Heritage Collection museum in SYD T3 quite some time ago and was impressed by the views of the tarmac on offer. It's a really appealing, airy space. Which made me think, was this once used as a lounge? I know it's not huge, but could it have been used as a Chairmans Lounge at one point? What was there before the museum opened?

Cheers,

The actual construction of the 'round' was done in the period shortly before the Sydney Olympics; watched it being built from the old Gate 16 QP during many late 90's visits.

I do know the CL entrance was actually on the gate concourse floor at the east of the 'round' - near the lift to the 'meeting rooms'/heritage collection.
