Salt & Pepper Squid has its own thread but I know the iconic Gua Bao Bun served in the F lounges has an equally loyal following! Does the pickled cucumber make this dish a winner or is it the juicy red braised lamb?

I'm happy to kick this off!

9 out of 10. Beautiful presentation. It held together really well and wasn't oily.

I took this photo of this luscious gua bao in August 2025 when it did not have its own thread, just because I loved it. The bun was beautifully soft and for me, the pickled cucumber is the thing that really makes it - adds great balance to the creamy dressing and fatty meat.

Doesn’t the filling vary across seasonal menus?
