I'll dare say that not starting up with all guns blazing is probably a more effective strategy. Slow and steady wins the race, so they say. We've seen airlines get too big for their shoes recently. Start it with a few flights, collect some data, change things up a bit as necessary then expand into the future as the market dictates.
We have family in nearby suburbs out that way, so WSI will be like flying into a private VIP airport for us at this stage.
Certainly SYD is a better option for those closer to the city. Perhaps they need to market it as "the gateway to the Blue Mountains" or something cute.
My curious thought of the day: I wonder if they'll do AVV - WSI flights in future? Incidentally, I'm surprised AVV hasn't been marketed, except by Bonza, as the gateway to the Surfcoast!
