Has anyone else used QANTAS at YBCG - OOL?

Of those who have, have you noticed a decline in service and general running of the QANTAS ground operations provided by Oceania Aviation?

I have had quite a few times of late where they seem to be running amuck, causing delays to boarding operations and generally causing a far from smooth boarding process.

I'm in the process of drafting a letter to QANTAS but just out of curiosity, has anyone else had any problems with the "QANTAS" Ground Staff or if I have just been unlucky enough to have had 3 separate isolated incidents?

Cheers

I'm certainly by no means the most frequent flyer anymore, however I haven't noticed any decline. They do have one particularly great staff member in the QP though!

If they are causing delays to boarding and causing delays in the departure time of the aircraft, then usually those ground handling companies have performance clauses in their contracts. Generally if these companies cause a delay, they are for a significant amount of money.

Whilst not having departed from CG for a while, I did arrive on the connector from MEL earlier this week and my bag was out very promptly and I was on my way in a timely fashion.

Not noticed any recent issues and I still say ex-OOL catering seems better than most other ports domestically :D

Thank you all for the responses. I sent an e-mail to QANTAS with the issues but also complimented how well the cabin crew were throughout the whole flight including boarding.

QANTAS just rang me today and thanked me for the feedback, they are going to look into it and check with the cabin crew as well.

I think this may have been discussed in other threads, but last evening I needed to get to AKL promptly, so as there was a 1700 Jetstar flight I booked it and headed up to the terminal quite grumpy and sweaty from a days work. (It has been quite warm and humid around OOL this week.)

Thinking the Q club would be open due a Sydney flight I was expecting to be able to shower up and refresh.

Anyway apparently there are no Q flights Thursday evening and the QP was shut.

Surely given the amount of Jetstar flights they could organise to have the QP open all the time. Pretty sure a fair percentage of J* pax are only there because Qantas don't run.

The only other option to be was to go to MEL and then midnight departure to AKL

Well remember the OOL QC was totally closed for a few years when QF pulled out mainline for a few years there.

Also other QC's close after last QF departure, even if other JQ ones exist later. That's the policy I guess. Frustrating i know.
