Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

Heads-up Laneways by Ovolo Melbourne is not longer available to book from https://www.qantas.com/hotels/campaigns/ecoaccredited-hotels if anyone was planning a Green Tier speedrun soon.
I had noticed it seemed to not want me to book a future date for Laneways by Ovolo so good thing I got in quickly. I had a feeling something was going on.

For future reference to others if you like a dark room would try to avoid 109. There's a bright light right outside the window that doesn't turn off all night and the curtains do not block it.

At least for Melbourne it seems like South Yarra is still available.

I'll miss green tier once it closes as it has been a good way to convert Qantas points into status credits with relatively little additional cost. I hope they launch the status credits on the ground soon.

That might mean that doing Green Tier one more time isn’t going to be worth it for me. Guess I won’t be doing the Green things like Carbon Offsets again unless they easily unlock status credits on the ground.
Is there a reason Laneway would be worth it but South Yarra wouldn't?
