Still waiting on my Green leaf after completion of the Recycle Smart pickups. Last pick up was on Dec 24, 2025.

I recently had my last resmart pickup occur and the app has updated showing 3 collections "activity unlocked"

But when will it show up within the Green tier section of QFF?

As my membership renewal period is within a few days and I will be gutted if I can't get my 50 SC

Most recent reports are 4-6 weeks... I had my last pickup 3 weeks ago so expect to see the final leaf in mid-February.

(You may wish to fire an email off with a screengrab of the Resmart app and see what can be done.)

I might give them a call tomorrow to see what can be achieved fingers crossed a positive result

Email address is a few posts above.

Still waiting for an accurate answer from the email above just every afternoon I would receive a generic email response of high amount of emails. I will be extremely annoyed if they do no honor the 50 SC

Is it possible to offset just your own flight if there are multiple people on the one booking/PNR?

No. Not without splitting the PNR.

You have to offset for everyone, or not at all.
I couldn't find one. I also couldn't find a way to offset one flight out of a longer itinerary.
It’s possibly to offset the last sector in a booking by completing the offset steps after the penultimate flight in the booking.

If they don’t make green tier easier to attain/retain, I think I am unlikely to bother with Green Tier again.
It's really not that hard.

The quiz now comes pre-ticked. It's then offset a short flight in Y (~$4), buy a case of green tick wine (variable), get three recycling pickups done (~$58), and do a donation (3200 points; if you're not sure you'll need the SCs this year, do it in the last month of your membership year).

Yes, it was easier when you could offset your Tassie 'holiday house' but the recycling's not hard and a good opportunity to throw out some junk.

Yes, it’s the recycling thing (instead of the easy peasy Holiday home offset) that’s putting peeps off.

And lack of green properties. In 2024 I had a green stay booked in a triple points promo which was fine (it was where I would have stayed anyway), but no suitable green properties last year.

I easily requalified for WP last year and this; and with SCs being given away for no effort at all in the on the ground promo I'm not bothering this year either. There are much easier to dispose of unwanted stuff via free council pick-up.

Yeah, we’ve already knocked WP requal out of the park this year 6mths in but won’t come even close to P1. So no urgency for GT but it was always nice to have in the back pocket to fire off at the start of the member year.

As I type this, maybe going for PCP is better with the 100 SC rollover. Again, thru some fortuitous QF Hotel stays, we both got to PC after 5 mths and on our way towards PCP. It’s a lot of points, but doable - especially if we buy some points with bonus wine! 😂

Yes, not hard for the majority of members (living in state capital cities)…….. but for the majority of the Qantas Network (100 destinations) , that is a different story. Non Australian residents, not eligible! And for the majority of the Australian Qantas Network (destinations), no recycling, no red energy…… if you are one of these members, there is only one path left.
