Qantas Frequent Flyer Points

Qantas domestic J flights are plentiful so the use of QF points for these works vey well.

Qantas has multiple points issuing loyalty partners. It isn't just big 4 banks ,Woolies and LJ Hooker. I have never seen a list but I would guess the number would be more than just a few.

To further highlight my point, AA sold 175 BILLION miles to it's members last year (members alone! - NOT third parties or partners) according to SEC filings.

I think point #2, #3 and #16 of my post ring true.

I wouldn't be at all too pleased if QF wholesalely sold points.
I have to fly at measly 800 points per flight, and some $$$ well off well to do person can buy thousands and thousands of QF points, (lets just say-therotically if QF did sell lots out points-outside of the top up system)...

Qantas do already wholesale points. How do you think the banks, Woolworths and other business get them to hand out to customers. This is 10s of millions or even 100s of millions per year. As for the top up system, it's pretty much a joke, I'd be surprised if they sell 1 million points a year by top up.

Sell more QFF points to fill up already full premium cabins.

Market is flooded already. Why drown it?
