Surprised they haven't extended it into April to catch the full sakura season.
 
Great News to see the Red Roo expand on another International Route.

Although quite surprising considering the massive capacity that's been added by JL, ANA & QF recently into Tokyo, numbers must be considerably up ex Japan.

Sapporo must be next for a direct Flight ex Australia, one would have thought.

Last nights QF26 was 100% full in Y, a month or so back QF79 was also packed heading over. Only a couple of recent datapoints I know but based on my experience recently this new route seems to make sense.
 
And there are now some decent sale fares available. $699 return in Y or $3499 in J from SYD/CBR/BNE/MEL to KIX.

My Japan flights late last year were similarly chockers. It'd be nice to see a seasonal A380 a la HK.

Especially if they offered / sold genuine F as well.
