Looks like a Qantas A330-200 is currently on its way from Sydney to Noumea as QF91. This is normally a Boeing 737 route, so a nice little upgrade. It would be nice if this became a regular thing, but looks like it's just a one-off for today.

The return flight NOU-SYD appears to be fully booked. Is there some sort of event happening in New Caledonia?

I saw it depart NOU. We're stuck here waiting for QF90. Does anyone know what happened to QF89, took off then returned to BNE. At least we are enjoying the Hibiscus lounge.

It seems QF90 is now scheduled for 7.50PM. The Hibiscus lounge is a nice little closet...at least there's champagne!

Damn, that would have been nice little surprise going home on Monday!

There must be some sort of conference on. The Hilton was booked out weeks ago - strange even for school hols. But there was a big group dinner at a restaurant in town the other night then we saw a subset day tripping here at the DT.

Our SB A330 flight over was chokers.
