Qantas FF on Jetstar

Travelling from Honolulu to Sydney with Qantas FF on Jetstar QF284. Travel agent said we would be entitled to meals etc as we are flying as Qantas passengers. I cannot confirm this. Can anyone assist?:?:

If you are are on a Qantas Frequent Flyer redemption travelling on a Qantas marketed (codeshare) flight number on JQ metal, then you will have to pay for meals.

Yes I have had the same situation going to Hawaii in June. As I understand it the service is bneing moved from Jetstar and will be a full Qantas service instead - hence the meals are included

That will only happen if you fly on QF3 and/or QF4!

Yup, the QF codeshare on JQ3 is QF283.

We to are in a similar position. Qantas say we are not entitled but when we ring Jetstar to book meals they say we don't have to.
The link posted before is also confusing....is HNL - SYD classed as long haul international?

Here is what the site says.
International Long Haul Services
Two inflight meal services (one for a shorter flight to DPS) are provided for commercial Qantas codeshare customers as well as all non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
Each passenger is also provided with a complimentary bottle of water. Any additional refreshments and drinks are available for purchase.
Qantas codeshare customers are also provided with a headset for viewing the overhead video screen and audio as well as a complimentary blanket pack.
