Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

Woohoo! Got my first offer for months...points for spend on meat. Activated immediately, I hope they start to roll in.

No offers at all this week for me / us....

This is very rare for us since we get offers 8/10 of the time, on the occasions we don't get offers we return the favor and withdraw our loyalty from Woolworths group and do our weekly spends at the Coles group, in return we usually find that there are savings at the check out worth more than what the standard FF points at woolworths.

It may even be the case that Coles is cheaper than woolworths, even if woolworths offer a few hundred points as a bonus on top of the normal points...

Woolworths EDR + QFF is good, but on a closer look I think we are all still paying for the points as our shop at Coles is ALWAYS around 3% to 5% cheaper than woolworths, on our spend that works out to around 400 FF points @ $0.015 each.

Bottom line: We only spend at WW during "bonus" offers, other times its coles + paying with a QFF credit card :p this activity seems to trigger "bonus" offers for us 8/10 times this year so far...

Edit: Secretly I'm actually happy NOT to receive yet another Woolworths Liquor offer like we have for the past 3 weeks, the offer was for 12 cents fuel voucher when spending $95.... After using this offer for 3 weeks in a row, the Bar is over stocked and we cant seem to use enough fuel...... I also believe that if you are given a "bonus" offer and do not use it then you are put on their "black" list. Hence I am happy with no offer this week... as I can't really justify the qualify spend.

Grabbed a card while I was in Woolies yesterday so I can pick up a few points on the odd occasion I shop there, but not having any luck setting up the QFF part as the Everyday Rewards site seems to be sh*tting itself. (That's a technical computer term.) This has been happening since yesterday afternoon. Is this a regular thing, or are they just doing maintenance over the long weekend or something?

Another woolies liquor offer. It must be random as I don't buy enough booze to justify all the liquor offers I am getting

There was maintenance, but it should be over by now?

Received two offers this week

Woolworths liq.

$50-$79 7c 150 points
$80-$99 9c 200 points
$100+ 12c 300 points

Was told in store yesterday that they were still having issues...got my 4c voucher but no FF points. If they dont post by the end of the week I'm assuming I can chase up with WW...

if you need fuel, and filling two cars would be the best, then I'd be selecting the 12c fuel offer, then chose to swap fuel discount for points on the EDR webpage... :):):)

The above would score you between 600 & 900 points, much better than the 300 points initially on offer...

Yes you can chase the points, but I don't believe it's the easiest thing to do. I noticed my receipt from WW didn't list points, just the fuel voucher, but as the fuel voucher has made it online, I'd imagine there is a record of spend that'll catch up eventually.

Got offer of double points or 12c discount on petrol for buying more than $30, but only last for this week. Too bad I just shopped at Coles for more than $30 and I already have triple fuel discount voucher from my Coles car insurance.

This week i got the "Spend $150, get 300 bonus points" offer - these are my favourite as I can just grab groceries I would have bought anyway and don't have to buy anything exotic to get the points!

So I just received a SMS from woolworths - Your card has been blocked.

Called customer support and was informed that a whole range of cards had been compromised (and in turn cancelled).

New card to be sent out next week apparently... Not the greatest timing this week (was looking to book 2.5 weeks US accom).

Anyone else?

Seems that there are some serious issues with both the EDR webpage & the QEDRCC webpage.... I'm having no luck logging on today, Anybody else having issues connecting...?

Actually been like it for at least the past few days... Perhaps server overload with all the interest in this loyalty program / cards.

I had issues this afternoon, but eventually was able to check my points balance and transactions.
