Qantas fee grab

You call her rude. Why?

Was she rude because she didn't give you what you wanted?
Like N860CR said they were rude because they refused to listen when challenged, and telling me is bad luck cos I'm not QFF silver or above and now flagged by their system and to pay for their initial mistake.

But they put the warning there to tell you that was what was happening (Y for one leg), you saw it and you went ahead anyway? And now you say they ripped you off?
Like previous AFF members said its well known about the mixed booking class with QF. It's a ripped off compared to other airlines spending same amount of points and J class all the way. However this thread was more about charging me seats selections (re-selections) 4 months after my initial booking and ignored that fact that I was paying J Class points to fly in Y class in the first place.

I would be setting up a fare class alert with expert flyer in the hope more reward seats become available that offer full J all the way closer to the day, it's often the case that J award seats open up in the week before departure, it would be worth the change fee!
Great tip. Thanks!
