Since one of the exit row seating conditions is the (ability) "to assist in an emergency" do the cabin crew monitor the alcohol intake of these passengers more strictly than others?
I think it depends on the FAs.
I was in the row behind exit row once on a PER -> BNE flight and the (loud and obnoxious) PAX in the exit row in front of me demanded another beer. The FA politely told him that he had had enough and needed to remain in control of his faculties, since he was in an exit row.
The obnoxious PAX fumed to his fellow PAX for a few minutes and then promptly fell asleep. I suspect he had consumed more than enough beer already.
