Qantas Economy Plus Discussion

A330 seat maps with Economy Plus are now available: https://www.qantas.com/en-au/onboard/fleet/a330

Quite a fair bit of smoke and mirrors involved.
At first I thought there was no change - other than labelling but Row 23 has been removed and the front row is now 24

Now, how many inches does that give across the other 9 rows +/- the legroom change (if any) on the bulkhead seats I guess remains to be seen?

Hopefully a reasonable amount and better than the AY planes that have Y+ in the first couple of rows of middle seats only…🤷‍♂️

Although the front row pair on the AY birds has excellent legroom!

So creating Economy Plus by removing a row from the side A/B and J/K pairs, rather than the ex-AY aircraft which use the centre four.

Still no CASA registration for VH-QPM

23AB is still there, but if the seat maps are to scale (which it normally is on the QF website), then 23AB has a lot more room than it does now, but there is no change to 24JK.

They have got rid of 40/41 AB and 41 JK to add extra legroom to the other seats.

I should have qualified my comment specific to the A332s getting the refurb.

There’s no row 23.

But great to see something on the A333s. I wasn’t expecting to see anything.
