Youd be better to do an open JAW say SYD-LAS paired with DFW/LAX-SYD as LAS has no international F quality lounges.

DFW goes up a bit (as expected) but you can mix 'n match LAS with any of LAX, SFO or YVR for $7,999.

FYI Qantas had 7 sales last year where J pricing to the US hit this level. Basically every other month. This is the second of this year, so the trend is continuing.

The best I've seen post Covid was QF SYD-YVR (return) for $5,999 in June 2023 (which we jumped at - actually bought SYD-YVR//YUL-ORD-LAX-SYD all QF codes for about $6.5k). That fare was repeated a couple times but has since been around $6,999 to $7,999. SFO about the same usually.

For Sth Am, the recent Sale fare QF SYD-SCL (return) for $4,999 was as good (if not better than) pre-Covid pricing. We took that one also! For a few dollars more got SYD-SCL-AEP//SCL-SYD.

Thanks. I must admit, I’ve taken my eye completely off North America over the last couple of years. I would love to get back to Canada so I might get the travel agent to work on it.
