Wednesday 21 January 2026 has seen QF127 (A332 VH-EBN), the 1115 hours SYD-HKG take off punctually at 1134, perhaps even a little early.

FR24 oddly claims it won't arrive at gate until 1914 hours, 84 minutes late - I added five minutes for taxiing to its landing time FR24 shows.

This is happening quite a lot: in the early stage of an international flight, FR24 exaggerates delays. Unless there was a very significant holding pattern on approach, it'd be very surprising if this flight took this long to reach Hong Kong.

Continuing with Wednesday 21 January, QF19, the 1205 hours lunchtime SYD up to MNL (A333 VH-QPF) airborne at 1321 hours with gate arrival suggested as 40 late at 1810 hours.

A332 VH-EBG is operating the 1425 hours SYD up to CGK QF41. It did not take off until 1607 so gate arrival looks to be 1901, 61 late. This will be the third time in five days it's been about an hour late: unusual, as 'the 41' is one of QFi's most punctual flights.

On Thursday 22 January, QF63 (0930 hours SYD-JNB, A388 VH-OQB) is expected to depart 45 late at 1015 hours. The aircraft has already been in Sydmey for more than 24 hours.

QF40 from CGK down to MEL had A332 VH-EBG, arriving 37 minutes late at 0707 hours.

A333 VH-QPF came in to SYD at 0811 hours, 91 late as QF20 overnight from MNL as it was delayed on QF19 yesterday.

The 0920 hours morning MEL-DEL A332 is delayed to a forecast pushback at 1200 'high noon'.

FR24 claims QF33's PER to CDG (Paris) flight of the evening of 21 January is 'unknown' yet clearly it departed, as the QF flight status page shows this B789 enroute. Another FR24 mystery @moa999 @tomlee1986 @RSD .

In more on Thursday 22 January, the delayed QF69 was airborne at 1255 hours with DEL (ex MEL) arrival at gate suggested as 1941 hours, 176 minutes late. A332 VH-EBM has the task.
