Qantas Delayed Flight Voucher 2 PAX - Can't use for 1

A quickie on redeeming Qantas credit/gift voucher due to delayed flight. X2 pax each with credit of 300 dollars. Tried to use my own individually, no joy. Kicked out at payment stage. So basically you always need to travel together (even if voucher valid for three years)!! Surely this is not true but when I read the small.peint is seems sadly, so! Yes?

I've had this before when using a gift voucher. Apparently the GV search engine is different to regular fares.

I rang up and got the ticket done manually at the lower fare with no handling fee.

Gosh surely that is just illegal!!
