Qantas Club refund when I get to Lifeitme Gold?

Before I managed to get to QF Gold status, I had used about nine months of three years of QC membership. I understand that on reaching Gold, my QC membership is suspended, but what happens when I get to lifetime Gold? Will Qantas refund the remaining amount of my QC membership since lifetime Gold will give me QC Membership anyway?

The membership will kick back in when the benefits of Lifetime Gold are enhanced to no longer include Qantas Club membership :evil: .

I am in a similar situation, with around 18 months membership on Lifetime Hold.
