Hi all - new member here - I have a question I'm hoping people can help me with.

My wife and I are long time QFF members - my wife having previously been Silver - but we both are now only Bronze members.

We're flying to Europe with Emirates (getting our QFF points!) - but are stopping over in Dubai - I'm wondering if I bought Qantas Club Complimentary Invites off the net, would we be able to use them to get access to the Associate Lounge in Dubai airport? Basically I'm trying to see how I can get access to this lounge, so any other tips on this are welcome!

Thanks! :)

Unfortunately these wouldnt work. QP passes only work in a Qantas operated lounge. You would need to be QC members on a QF code shared flight to get access

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

If you had paid real $$ for the flights, you would not be able to access the Emirates even if you were Qantas Club. So you have Buckleys of getting in using invites.

But I do understand why you would look at any way to get into the EK lounge - it's fabulous (sorry...now I am rubbing it in)

As Groundhog mentioned, complimentary Qantas Club passes are only valid for use at Qantas operated domestic Qantas Club and/or international Business Lounges (each pass has specific access eligibility conditions written on it).

On a related note, and as a friendly reminder, selling Qantas Club passes is against the program terms and conditions. Be wary of fraudulent websites and sellers as these passes are not available for purchase.

Tired advice? ;)

You might have missed the reference to 'weary', hence tired rather than wary which we think you all mean!

While some could argue that either would be appropriate when referring to the sale of these passes, you're absolutely right. ;)

weary = Red Roo, late on a Friday night

wary = indeed what I meant
