Free Qantas Club Complimentary Invitation expires Aug 2014

I have one of these to give away.

I would like to give it away to a regular contributor on AFF who has been here a while and is using the invitation for their overseas holiday. Preference would be given to those I have already met.

I will leave this thread open until Friday 11 July. See how we go. Please post in this thread with your reason for needing the complimentary Qantas Club invitation.

Hi JohnK, I'd like to be considered although we have not actually met as I don't get outta here nearly as much as I'd like. I would like to help someone who has never been in the lounge but is making her first trip overseas on her own, to HKG in Aug - my daughter!

We have met before - around 2 years ago. You kindly guested me into the SYD Flounge when we were both flying to Auckland at night ( I was on JQ, you were on QF). It was my first time into the Flounge, and after experiencing all it has to offer, it really motivated me to invest more time into AFF.

Since then, I've become more active here - either giving out express cards, providing informative trip reports, providing guesting details or just some general advice or opinions.

I recently came back from HK using the new HK lounge - and the difference it makes in being able to shower, enjoy some nibbles and a few drinks or too after a long day is noticeable.

I'll be heading to SE Asia again in a few weeks, coming home via SIN, and would love to revisit the QF lounge. As I will be doing a full day of work after a QF6 redeye, I think having that lounge access - where I can eat, shower and relax - would make me less drowsy, tired and sweaty at work. To this day, I still have no QF status...

Don't actually meet the criteria in full, as we have never met, but will post anyway.

My parents are flying to Europe in a couple of weeks (in their 70s), and I have one QC pass I would be keen to give them, if I could get another so that they could both access a Lounge on the trip.

I am a long term member here, and reasonably frequent of not so prolific poster.

Hi JohnK, what a wonderful gesture. I note I am also outside of your timeline but this is the first opportunity I've had to actually sit down and read this page this week. I lurk more than I post, and I tend to live vicariously through Ozbeachbabe, and we may (or may not) have met at the Brissy lunch and QF club gathering earlier this year .. I am heading o/s 30 August with hubby and sisterinlaw, she's competing in the world dragon boating champs in Italy. I'd love to be able to give access to her in a lounge in SIN .. hubby and I are traveling J and I don't know that we would be able to guest her in (I have silver status only until we're back). thankyou.

OK stupidity has set in and I forgot the passes in Sydney. Not back in Sydney for 2 weeks but I guess I can ask mum and dad to send them off.

I will ask a couple of the moderators to help me decide.
