Hi all

I have searched qantas's website and am still flummoxed by the price calculation that Qantas are giving me for changing my domestic flight.

I want to change my (3 adults 1 infant) brisbane flight to melbourne from 11am - to 1pm. The price difference is +$37 per passenger, and according to the QF website (Schedule of Fees for bookings made from Australia | Qantas) for domestics its $10 per passenger. So $47 per passenger which even if i paid that for the infant = $188

So why does the QF website charge me $88 change fee per passenger and a total of $375???

If i phone them it will be cheaper to pay the $60 service fee but thats not the point...

That $10 you refer to is an additional fee on top of the regular change fee (which varies depending on your fare type), charged for making the change over the counter.

The base change fee for red e-deal is $88 per pax.

Just to add, if you call you'll pay the $60 assistance fee on top of the $88 change fee. Not instead of the change fee.
