Qantas Call Centre Long Wait Times

My understanding (from unofficial sources) is that there is a pool of priority phone numbers that airport staff give to passengers which rotates every few weeks.

I will attempt to publish the currently active number(s) in this post:

Friday evening, 5pm, on hold 3 hours, gave up.
Called 13 11 31
they emailed me at 4:30pm to let me know they had made 'a change'

Called 7.05am today (Saturday). Offered callback in “Less than 15minutes”. Still no callback 90mins later.

Looks like all the flights from december to feb into QLD got canned last night, this I guess has led to a deluge of calls which is part of the reason why this is such a nightmare

Last night had been listening to the music for 5+ hrs and call got disconnected. Made another call this morning at 7am AEDT, the music is still playing (4hrs). How excellent service Qantas is providing to their valued customers!

Does that mean your call has been answered? I lodged callback requests and neither have occurred.
no just passed 4 hours listening to how much I can do on the app when i can do none of the things they keep pimping

It is so pathetic. I think Centrelink does a better job than Qantas.

Called at 645 this morning. Call back offered stating wait time is over 2 hours. I was about to try and call back but thought I'd check here first and see that this is typical of calls today. The wait continues. Crossing my fingers that the flights I am after will still be there when I eventually get a call back.

To the people getting offered callback, is that 13 13 13 ? i've always used 13 11 31 and never been offered a call back

I can never get 13 11 31 to recognise my button presses so have to call 13 13 13. I've only been offered a call back when the wait time is under 2 hrs.

Has anyone successfully made a call today? I'm wondering if the phones are down.
