Only two QPK and QPL on leases that go to end 2028 afaik. So how many Red Tail dry lease now?
I have a feeling A321 will do that heavy lifting.QF should be flying to more Asian destinations, more regularly, and should have a greater slice of SIN and HKG traffic.

The SIN and HKG traffic should increase, but the A333 fleet is already at the max capacity, and some early A333 (QPA - QPD) are already at breaking point!! Therefore unless they get more of the mid-life A333, then it is all talk and no use in action!QF should be flying to more Asian destinations, more regularly, and should have a greater slice of SIN and HKG traffic.
We already know that QF limping them on. PS a35Ks are coming to add additional LHR capacity, the b787-10s are expected late 2027 onwards. Coupled with 330-200 refurbishment coming online at the end of the year as wellThe SIN and HKG traffic should increase, but the A333 fleet is already at the max capacity, and some early A333 (QPA - QPD) are already at breaking point!! I would say the increase of such flights should happen once the newer planes arrive, rather than now because of this current A333 issue... I am all for this increase, but not at the risk of reliability of timetable of what we got now... it is already a mess and we dont need more at this timeWe already know that QF limping them on. This is probably the last major point where the QFi widebody fleet isn't in full new plane refresh mode.
2027 onwards we're probably seeing new planes enter service every few months for almost a decade judging by the order books.
Re the Finnair bird. I wonder how QF structured it. I would imagine it won't ever go back to AY, but at the same time I wonder how long it'll stay with QF? Maybe 6-7 years?
I don't believe the Finnair planes have the capabilities. At least I haven't noticed it on the QF leases nor on Finnair's actual a350s.So I’m on one - qf81 - app says there is Bluetooth. Anyone know where the pairing setup is? On Cathay you click on the headphone button but that’s not on the screen, which looks pretty much the same.
They're not going to increase timetables on the widebody fleet. If anything QPA may be retired before the first replacement b787-10 comes in. The first batch of planes will almost certainly be immediate replacements for QPA-QPD. Those 333 retirement are dictated by how long each plane has before their next major maintenance check (which in theory should all be sometime in 2027).I would say the increase of such flights should happen once the newer planes arrive, rather than now because of this current A333 issue...
