Hi There
We are booking a family trip SYD-LAX return for 4 people.

Is there really much difference in ECONOMY between the Boeing 747-400 and the A380's? And if so which is different - which is more comfortable (even thought we have our 3 and 5 year old with us).

Thanks
Bec from Sydney

Probably the main difference is that on the A380 there are power points for Y pax.

Both are pretty good. The A380 is quieter but the seats are more or less the same (assuming you get a refurbished 747 - which is very likely). One of the only differences is the crew - on the A380 they tend to be younger while on the 747 they are usually older and more experienced. Either way I'm sure you will be looked after.
