Yes the AF surcharges via QFF are something to complain about. I find that it makes short-haul redemption within EU uncompetitive.

But even when I redeemed an AF flight via DL, the surcharges were still pretty expensive.

I'd say that page is out of date because QF do codeshare on AF CDG to HND



To this point, I've seen CDG to PEK pop up in my searches as well so there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason as to what shows up and what doesn't

Appreciate the feedback on the fuel surcharges - just wanting to burn down my pile of QF points that seem to be harder and harder to redeem

Qantas access to AF (and other non-OW partners) award seats is often less than what is available to alliance members (in the case of AF, Skyteam). So while searching on VS/DL is a good starting point, it isn't necessarily accurate if you're looking to use QF points. Nothing to do with codeshares.
