Qantas any seat award flight and status points

Hello all,

I need advice on this one, I am a paid QC silver member, I need 115 additional status credits to achieve gold, my expiry date is 31 may 2013.

In March I got an email giving me double status credits on eligible flights until my expiry at the end of May. I have flown a couple of economy flights and the double status points have been applied.

I want to book an Any seat award flight from Karratha to Perth one way in Business. This will give me 60 status points but will I get the double bonus and get an additional 60 getting me gold??

yes, I bought a JASA from Mel-Syd and was credited 40 + 40 SC

Yup. Have done many JASA's on double SC offers. They won't credit at the same time as the JASA credits, but usually within a few days it'll tick over. Enjoy your new complimentary Qantas Pub access =)
