I think this is just temporary until they can get the join venture with AA approved.

yes. this is just giving the detail of the changes with AA "required" prior to another DOJ filing to try and get the JV happening again. If it's approved I would presume earn *should* return to normal though it would hardly surprise anyone if the opportunity was taken to keep them lower longer term, but def more than half.

This was expected thanks to their JV not working out.

Will certainly be interesting to see where it goes in the future though. AA has always been one of their biggest partners.

As I will be in the US for most of April I scored a break for this change, nothing to do with good planning.

Quality performance burying it at the bottom of the longest update email they've sent - knowing (presumably) 95% of people wont scroll down to it and even less will click through.

they've always done this and a very high number of QFF members don't have or care about status or SC's.

This is standard marketing practice.

I must admit I'm guilty of this as I figure I'll find out here if anything is enhanced.

Yeah it was more a comment on the length of the email - meaning "scroll through" would be even less than typical.

Oh, dear. With AA domestic First now selling at Biz subclass, the QF SC run with AA First is dead than dead...

Yep, like the fuel levy has gone.

Oh wait . . .

From the link provided by to OP I am curious to see that you seem to get more SC travelling from PER to most locations, inparticular Doha, 30 more than fling from ADL and 40 more than from the east coast. Maybe this update was overlooked or is this correct.

And probably just under the notification that some of your FF points are about to expire...

There has to be some compensation for living on the other side of the continent!!

These odd QR earnings aren't new. They've been around for, I reckon, two years next month when simpler and fairer was introduced.
