QANTAS AMEX ULTIMATE CARD NOT GIVING CORRECT POINTS

Hello - just wanted to check if anyone else has experienced points earning issues with the co-branded QANTAS/AMEX card such as the Ultimate Card. With this card the standard earn rate is 1.25 QF points on most purchases with an extra 1 point on any QF purchases. There is an issue where for quite some time now I've noticed that the extra 1 point has not been earned on the QF purchases. Has anyone else had this happen?
 
Yes, I've noticed that too, but haven't had the time to chase it up with AMEX yet...
I've noticed it's been going on now since at least January 2020...I've now reported it.

I think it affects all three of their cards Ultimate, Premium and Discovery.

Have you had any of your Qantas spend refunded?

Amex don't immediately claw back bonus points when you receive a refund from Qantas. But they do claw them back when you make subsequent spend on Qantas by not awarding anymore bonus points until you've spent enough to make up for the refunded spend.

Thanks that makes sense - I did receive lots of refunds so maybe it could be that? Appreciate your reply.

This will be the cause. I've had this happen to me and Amex confirmed that this is what's happening.
