Hi

I have booked three legs flight through travel agent , it turns out that I will not be flying the first leg , I could but I do not have that much time. All flights are operated by qantas , my question is if I do not fly first leg will this affect my remainig flights ? Will thay be canceled ?

As far as I can read here on qantas website about no show it says

"Rebook/Reroute - after No-Show
Customers who elect to Rebook/Reroute their remaining journey after a No-Show will be required to pay the applicable fee and any difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for the new ticket before they can commence travel.
Manual Ticket Reissue - the fee must be collected via EMD-S using RFIC code-D and RFISC code 981.
Automated Ticket Reissue - the change fee will be automatically processed by the GDS system
"
Does that mean if I do not want to rebook or reroute I will no be charged ? and I can missed first leg without any consequences ?

Thank you

The ticket is AAA-BBB-CCC-DDD. That is in many cases a different price then for BBB-CCC, AAA-BBB, AAA-CCC, etc.
If you miss the AAA-BBB leg, then to fly the BBB-CCC-DDD legs, you'll have to the change fee applicable to your ticket and any fare difference between the AAA-BBB-CCC-DDD and BBB-CCC-DDD routes.

All remaining legs will be cancelled if you miss the first. You'll essentially then be buying a new ticket, at the current price of the day - which could be very expensive - if you want to continue with the rest of the trip. Plus the change fees.

You may be able to get the first leg marked as not required or some such. There are provisions in the Qantas Conditions of Carriage that may help to prevent subsequent sectors getting cancelled, but Qantas need to be advised in advance, and not simply no show.

Are these domestic flights or international flights?

For some time now domestic flights are treated as a series of one-way flights so if you miss one then the others should still be in tact. Same as a domestic return altough you may need to call to get the flight(s) reinstated.

This is only the case on a domestic ticket. If it's a domestic connecting to international the domestic sector is treated with the international rules, which means missing the first sector will cancel the rest.
