I'm due to fly from London to Singapore and Sydney to London on Qantas A380 in September, does anyone know what games or TV programmes are on iQ system? Does anyone know whether Big Love season 3 is on there?

Also I know that the Qantas website has a list of films but does anyone know whether they are all films on offer or are there more older films to watch?

Thank you
Rich

Hi Rich

And welcome to AFF.

The video systems are refreshed monthly so it's too early to know what will be shown in September. However, I just got off an A380 and there were quite a few categories of movies including one for those movies that won Oscars going all the way back to the 70's. There are plenty of older movies in other categories too. As for Big Love - maybe Qantas can help.

I've never seen a whole season of a tv show available on any IFE system, just select episodes.

I think I have, but only where the show has only a few episodes in the season.

The A380 entertainment is decent, but I do believe the quality of movies is lacking. The QF website should have an updated list at the appropriate time.

Pretty sure that both the A380 and 744 on the SYD-LAX route had the entire Boardwalk Empire series on them. It was great as I had them loaded on my IPod Touch but didn't have to bother.

I have always found that what is listed on the website and the in-flight printed guide are different to what is actually available. The website and printed guide will be the same, but only about half of those things will match what is actually available (the other half being something different).

Kinda sux when you deliberately avoid seeing a movie you think you can watch on a flight only to find out it isn't there.
