How do Qantas FA's take meal orders on the J transcon domestic flights? Is it front to back, right to left, by status??? Last time I was left with one option by row 4 so I would like to maximize my chances by picking the correct seat.

Very slowly. Front to back. On a twin aisle jet there is usually one crew member doing each aisle.

Your best bet would be to sit close to the front I would think, row 4 seems about the middle.

Perhaps if you were worried about the choices you could have a word in the galley before setting off.

Thanks for the replies. I'd just prefer to have a hot option for breakfast especially when there is not enough time to go to the lounge for a 0530 departure.
