Just wanted to take a moment to " Thank" this wonderful group, who gave me information about the " Best Seat In The House". aboard the A380 in Economy.....flying with Qantas in seat 71D.

Earlier this year ( March) I had the most wonderful, comfortable trip to LAX/SYD return aboard the A380.... The friendly Qantas staff were as always just the best.... I actually flew from LAX to YVR/YXC together with American Airlines and Air Canada Jazz.... it was only a short 2 week trip, but I really enjoyed the A380 which was a dream come true for me ( a Solo Traveller at 76 years young) and would ( if I could afford it) book again with a heartbeat....I used up all my Qantas Frequent Flyers points to attain this trip, so have started once again... to who knows where... but if I win Lotto... lookout !!!! I will be winging my way aboard another flight somewhere..

Again my appreciation for your friendship and advice.... Happy Flying to one and all.

Dear Ozbeachbabe & others

My trip was to Cranbrook in BC Canada...This was my 15th Trip to Canada, which has become my 2nd home over the many years I've been there. ..travelled most of the West Coast of Canada & been to so many places that Tourists never get to see... unfortunately Qantas did not fly direct to YVR at the time of my booking which I used all my Frequent Flyer Points for.. . it was a wonderful trip.. due to my early booking ( about 9 months in advance to ensure my seating)... Qantas had to change my flight schedule on many occasions....mainly the American end, but they kept me up to date all the way and I had a smooth transition in both directions....In hindsight, I was so excited to be travelling I should have paid my Fare and used the points to upgrade, there is always a Next Time I hope.
Now my goal as mentioned was to start saving those points again and in about 4 years I will be flying once again.....May they grow very quickly....LOL.

Happy Flying Everyone.
