Qantas ‘Year of Points Planes’ 2027

Qantas will be flying points planes every month in 2027, starting with Tokyo and Hobart in Jan, and Paris in Feb. Bookable from 9am (AEDT) 6 November 2026.

Extremely limited dates (Tokyo 5 / 12 Jan; Hobart 12 / 19 Jan; Paris 22 Feb / 18 March)

The challenge with these “points planes” is they’re usually only one way - so you need to get home somehow else.

However, the regular booking search ought to allow peeps to book points out and $s back.

I’d be looking at cheap days home now and try those as the return date when the point seats open.

In this case, there's one or two out and one or two back. So provided you can make those specific dates work, you can get a return points trip.
