We have an 7am Monday departure. If we arrive at 6am will 1 hour be adequate to get through checkin.

First thing to do is OLCI and print your BP's before you head to the airport.

Often with JQ, that enables you to get a good advance on any queue.

Well SYD will be T2, not T3...

Do OLCI, a Monday morning at SYD can be quite busy, and you'd still need to get through security which will take a few minutes... If you've got bags to drop I'd suggest getting there even earlier (say 5:30).

Then again that's just me, as I'd rather turn up early and have tons of time than cut it close and potentially miss the flight (especially with JQ).

Also if your a QP member there is a QP in T2 to have brekky, otherwise there is a food court in T2 where you can get a half decent feed and coffee to kill the time...
